Hair Transplantation With Dhi Method

Hair Transplantation With Dhi Method

HAIR TRANSPLANTATION WITH DHI METHOD
Hair loss is a very common problem that affects both men and women. Hair loss, which starts as thinning of the hair and regression of the anterior hairline, can develop mostly due to genetic reasons in men and hormonal reasons and some diseases in women. Turkey is one of the countries with the highest number of hair transplants in the world.
DHI hair transplantation, which is expressed as direct hair implantation, is one of the most advanced methods and is performed using special pens called implanter pen. In this method, which has become popular in recent years, no incision is made and there is a two-stage application. While three different methods such as grooving, graft collection and graft transplantation are applied in other hair transplantation methods, the DHI method is known to be more practical. The aim of the DHI hair transplant method is to focus on the openings in the areas where the hair is sparse, without damaging the existing hair, and to perform a tighter and more natural hair transplant. In the DHI method, besides giving the hair a natural appearance, it is also aimed for the patient to return to his daily life as soon as possible.
Firstly, routine tests are performed to check the patient's suitability for treatment. If the test results are suitable, the operation can be performed. At the beginning, in order for the patient not to feel pain, local anesthesia is applied to the area where the roots will be taken, and the area is numbed. Then the roots are taken and kept in a solution that will both increase the health of the hair follicles and prevent them from being damaged. After the root removal process is completed, local anesthesia is applied to the area to be transplanted. After the anesthesia process is completed, the grafts placed in special pens are started to be planted from the front of the head to the sparse areas in accordance with the direction of hair growth and its natural structure. Since there is no channel opening in this method, the crusting time is very short and healing takes place faster.A small amount of crusting is completely shed within a week. Between two and three weeks, the newly transplanted baby hair falls out. In the third month, the transplanted hair begins to grow slowly, and by the sixth month, most of the hair has grown. After the completion of one year, the hair begins to regain its natural appearance and the transplanted roots do not shed again.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF DHI METHOD?
• With DHI hair transplantation, it is easier to direct hair follicles compared to other methods.
• Since grooving and hair follicle placement are done at the same time, the collected hair follicles are placed in their place without waiting for a long time. This allows the hair follicles to hold on to their new places better.
• This method, which allows tighter planting, provides a natural and dense appearance.
• Existing hair is not damaged. It is a method that can also be applied to patients whose hair loss has not been completed.
• The patient experiences a rapid recovery process.
