What is LASIK?
LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) uses a femtosecond laser to create a thin corneal flap, which is lifted while an excimer laser reshapes the tissue beneath. The flap is repositioned and heals naturally. The procedure takes around 10–15 minutes per eye and recovery is rapid — most patients see clearly within 24 hours.
Suitability depends on corneal thickness, prescription strength, pupil size, and dry eye status. All procedures are carried out at Ministry of Health–approved partner facilities. Your coordinator confirms the clinical team, hospital, and travel schedule in writing before you commit.
