KVKK notice
Information notice under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
1. Data controller identity

2. Personal data processed
Identity and contact details (name, phone, email, country of residence); enquiry, quote, and appointment information; message content sent via forms, email, or WhatsApp; health and clinical information required to deliver care (special category data); travel and accommodation preferences; technical data for security and analytics (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location).
3. Purposes of processing
Responding to enquiries and creating treatment quotes and appointments; coordinating treatment (clinic, transfer, accommodation); fulfilling legal obligations (accounting, tax, health regulations); marketing communications where you have given explicit consent; maintaining website security.
4. Legal bases (KVKK Articles 5 and 6)
Establishment or performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests of the data controller; explicit consent (special category data and marketing). Dental and medical data is processed only as necessary to provide health services, with appropriate safeguards.
5. Transfers
Your data may be shared with contracted health facilities and clinicians, IT and hosting providers, messaging platforms (e.g. WhatsApp / Meta), and professional advisers where required. Cross-border transfers follow Article 9 of Law No. 6698 and applicable safeguards.
6. Retention
Data is retained for as long as required by the processing purpose and mandatory legal retention periods (health, tax, accounting). After expiry, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymised.
7. Your rights (KVKK Article 11)
You may learn whether your data is processed and request information; learn the purpose of processing; know third parties to whom data is transferred; request correction and notification to third parties; request deletion or destruction where conditions apply; object to automated decision-making; and claim compensation for unlawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
8. How to apply
Email info@orbismedclinics.com with enough information to verify your identity. We aim to respond free of charge within 30 days under KVKK Article 13; a fee may apply if the request requires disproportionate cost.
