OrbisMed Travel is a licensed health tourism intermediary (AK-1013), not a healthcare facility. Clinical care is delivered by contracted partner clinics. Individual results vary.

This guide is for UK and Ireland patients researching full-arch implant rehabilitation in Turkey. It explains what All-on-4 involves, how indicative costs compare with private UK treatment, and how a licensed intermediary coordinates care without replacing clinical responsibility at the treating clinic.

Who this guide is for

You may be comparing All-on-4 because private UK quotes feel out of reach, NHS implant access is limited in your area, or you want a written plan before committing to flights. This guide assumes you are weighing Antalya via a health tourism intermediary, not booking a clinic direct from a social media advert alone.

OrbisMed Travel is a licensed intermediary (International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate No. AK-1013), not a dental clinic. Surgery and prosthetic work are performed at contracted Ministry of Health–authorised partner clinics. Individual results vary.

What All-on-4 is

All-on-4 is a full-arch rehabilitation protocol: typically four implants support a fixed bridge replacing the teeth in one jaw. On suitable cases, a provisional (temporary) bridge can be fitted shortly after surgery. The definitive zirconia or hybrid bridge is usually fitted on a second visit after months of healing — not in the same week as surgery.

Marketing phrases such as “permanent teeth in one week” often refer to provisional teeth, not the final restoration you will wear long term. A staged protocol is normal and clinically appropriate.

UK vs Turkey cost table

Figures below are indicative for comparison only. Your written quote depends on imaging, bone volume, brand selection and clinical findings.

Option Indicative UK private range OrbisMed Antalya from
All-on-4 — one arch £12,000–£20,000 £3,500
All-on-4 — both arches £24,000–£40,000 £6,000
All-on-6 — one arch £15,000–£22,000 £4,000

Flights, UK private follow-up and optional grafting are not included unless stated in your written plan. See our cost comparison guide and pricing page for detail.

Why prices differ

Lower headline prices in Turkey usually reflect operating costs, currency and package structure — not an automatic reduction in implant brand or surgical standards. What matters is whether you receive:

  • CBCT-based planning before surgery
  • Named implant brand and model in writing (for example Straumann Group systems where clinically appropriate)
  • A staged provisional-then-definitive protocol
  • Itemised inclusions before you pay a deposit

OrbisMed confirms package line items in GBP before travel. Vague “Swiss quality” language without brand documentation is a red flag.

Safety framework

Safety depends on clinic team, imaging and planning — not on country alone. A reasonable minimum checklist includes:

  1. Clinic International Health Tourism Authorization — verifiable on the HealthTürkiye portal where accessible
  2. Intermediary authorization if you book through an agency — see what AK-1013 means
  3. CBCT scan reviewed before implant surgery — not only panoramic X-rays
  4. Written aftercare pathway before you fly — see aftercare guide
  5. Traceable implant records to take home — see Straumann traceability guide

Red flags include template treatment plans without your imaging, promises of definitive permanent teeth within one week, and quotes that omit a second visit. Our safety guide and verification checklist expand on this.

The GDC leaflet on going abroad for dental care is a useful UK reference. Speaking to your regular dentist before travel is strongly advisable.

OrbisMed’s role (AK-1013)

AK-1013 authorizes OrbisMed Travel to coordinate international health tourism: matching you with authorised clinics, issuing written plans, arranging logistics, and maintaining a contact channel after you return. It does not mean the Ministry of Health guarantees clinical outcomes.

OrbisMed also holds Group A Travel Agency Certificate No. 15454 for transport and accommodation coordination. View certificates and verification steps on our authorization page.

Two-visit timeline

Phase Typical duration What happens
Visit 1 ~5 active days in Antalya Records, CBCT confirmation, surgery, provisional bridge where clinically appropriate
Healing at home ~3 months Osseointegration; remote photo reviews via WhatsApp
Visit 2 ~3 active days Definitive zirconia or hybrid bridge; bite and fit checks

Timelines extend if grafting, sinus work or infection control is needed. See the detailed timeline guide and blog post.

Package inclusions checklist

Confirm these in writing before paying a deposit:

  1. Implant fixtures — brand and approximate quantity
  2. CBCT or 3D imaging
  3. Provisional bridge (first visit)
  4. Definitive bridge material (for example zirconia) on second visit
  5. Surgical and prosthetic clinic fees at partner clinic
  6. Hotel nights as stated in plan
  7. Airport–clinic transfers
  8. Coordinator contact and aftercare thread
  9. Implant passport / batch documentation on completion
  10. Second visit prosthetic work included (not “optional extra”)

Aftercare and UK reality

When you return home, clinical aftercare remains the responsibility of the treating clinic under your guarantee terms. OrbisMed coordinates WhatsApp follow-up, forwards concerns to the clinical team, and helps arrange remedial visits where covered.

The NHS typically covers urgent pain or infection — not elective correction of cosmetic or elective overseas work. Your UK dentist can often help with hygiene, adjustments and maintenance if informed in advance. Read NHS and UK dentist limits and our aftercare page.

Guarantee terms are summarised in our complications guide and full guarantee policy.

How to get a written quote

  1. Send recent dental photos and any X-rays or scans you already hold
  2. Receive an indicative plan with GBP pricing and inclusion list
  3. Ask questions before booking flights — there is no obligation at assessment stage
  4. Confirm surgeon, clinic name and implant brand in the written proposal

Request a quote or message us on WhatsApp. Treatment suitability is confirmed only after clinical examination and imaging in Antalya.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does All-on-4 cost in Turkey compared to the UK?

Indicative UK private treatment for one arch often falls between £12,000 and £20,000. OrbisMed packages in Antalya start from £3,500 per arch with itemised inclusions confirmed in writing. Flights and UK private follow-up are separate. See our cost guide.

Is All-on-4 in Turkey safe?

Outcomes depend on clinic authorization, CBCT planning, surgeon experience and aftercare — not geography alone. Using a Ministry-authorised clinic and a licensed intermediary may reduce coordination risk when proper checks are completed. Complications can still occur; no provider can guarantee zero risk.

How many visits and days are required?

Most patients need two visits: roughly five active days for surgery and provisional teeth, then roughly three active days for definitive bridges after healing at home (often around three months). Grafting can add time or a third trip.

What is included in an all-inclusive package?

At minimum: implants, imaging, provisional and definitive prosthetic stages, clinic fees, stated hotel nights and transfers. Flights, optional grafting and UK maintenance are commonly excluded unless listed. Use our inclusions checklist.

What does a Ministry of Health–authorised intermediary (AK-1013) do?

AK-1013 allows OrbisMed Travel to coordinate care with authorised clinics, issue written plans, arrange logistics and maintain post-travel contact. Clinical treatment is delivered by the partner clinic. Full explanation.

What aftercare applies when I return to the UK?

OrbisMed maintains a WhatsApp coordination thread and forwards clinical questions to your treating team. Routine hygiene and adjustments may be handled by your UK dentist if they agree. Emergency NHS care may cover urgent problems but not elective remakes. Aftercare guide.

What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?

All-on-6 uses six fixtures per arch where bone quality or bite forces require additional support. The choice is made from CBCT imaging — not from online questionnaires alone. Comparison guide.

Can I get permanent teeth in one trip?

You may leave the first visit with fixed provisional teeth, but definitive zirconia bridges normally require a second visit after healing. Same-week “permanent” claims often mislabel provisional restorations.

How do I verify a clinic before booking flights?

Search the HealthTürkiye portal, confirm clinic and intermediary certificates, and demand implant brand and surgeon name in writing. Step-by-step verification.

What if something goes wrong after I fly home?

Contact your OrbisMed coordinator first. Covered warranty issues are assessed by the treating clinic; OrbisMed facilitates the claim. Uncovered issues are explained clearly with options. Guarantee and complications guide.
